Our Medical Detox Near Dublin
Medical detox is often our first phase of care. It is a residential program consisting of medical treatment of the physical component of addiction – withdrawal. Clients receive round-the-clock care from nursing staff, as well as psychiatric treatment with our physician and nurse practitioner.
Because some substance cause physical withdrawal symptoms, our medical team monitor clients and prescribe medications when needed. These medications, known as a “taper”, help slowly remove drugs or alcohol from the body, while limiting the uncomfortable and even dangerous symptoms of withdrawal.
Inpatient Rehab
Inpatient, or residential treatment, is a common first-line treatment option for addiction. Out program is around 30 days, depending on the needs of each client. Clients engage in many treatment programs, such as individual therapy, group therapy, and aftercare planning. They also engage in fun activities on a near-daily basis, including outside excursions. Our clients rarely report boredom or feeling “locked in”. We know 30 days can seem like a long time, but its truly the bare minimum we recommend to begin the journey to lifelong recovery.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Partial hospitalization, or PHP, is a level of care similar to residential treatment – except clients return home at night rather than sleeping at the facility. This option is often used to extend a higher level of care or make best use of health insurance benefits. PHP can bring significantly lower costs than residential treatment for those with limited health benefits.
Aftercare
After residential treatment or PHP, most of our clients continue with an aftercare program, such as intensive outpatient, or IOP. Outpatient consists of evening groups and individual counseling sessions while clients being their transition back to every day life. Early recovery can be extremely sensitive – so IOP can help our clients stay on track and maintain a support system. We also have a lively alumni group and quarterly alumni events and gatherings.
